Week 41 {365 Project}

Days 280-286, at your service. Between work we took the girls on a first river float, kept cool in the sprinkler, and visited a local farm and ate berries up the wazoo.  The end of the week was spent with some great friends camping up the mountains, our kids running wild and loving every minute of it.  I did too.  Until next week, friends.

280-2
280 | 365 … A pit stop for dinner on her first river float.

B (because I can throw in an extra shot once in a while!) … The girls had their first river voyage on the drift boat this evening. There were some tears (J dropped her rod in the river 😁) and it by no means was as relaxing as a regular float with my man, but it was so absolutely worth it. Nothing beats a sunset with blue heron, osprey, the river, rainbow trout, and these lovely people. 💙

281 | 365 … Fairy wings, a bathing suit, and a make shift cold shower = how my kid deals with the PNW heat wave.

282 | 365 … A a game of hide and seek, I can always find her hiding in the trees. ‘Rest not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.’ -John Lubbock, The Use Of Life
283
283 |365 … Rocking some chopsticks before momma heads to work. 🍜
284-2
284 | 365 … Giggles, hay in the hair, and fingers stained red with berries. I want them to remember days like this. ❤️
285-3
285 | 365 … A camping getaway with this sweet crew. I took care of the older twin boys + their momma in utero, and it’s absolutely amazing getting to know them as the years go by. Can’t wait for more adventures!
286-2
286 | 365 … Day 2 of tent camping + hiking all day means we’re all covered in dirt, but so darn happy.
